Lloyd’s List has released its annual Top 10 Ship Managers for the year 2021 in which Anglo-Eastern has been ranked No. 1, with CEO Bjorn Hojgaard at the helm.
This is the third consecutive year that Anglo-Eastern has taken top honours in the high-profile rankings, both under the robust leadership of Bjorn Hojgaard (2020) and chairman Peter Cremers (2019), demonstrating Anglo-Eastern’s significance in the global ship management sphere.
“We couldn’t be more delighted by the ranking, which cites Bjorn’s strong stand and leadership during the crew change crisis. Indeed, Bjorn was an early and proactive voice for seafarers throughout the crew change crisis, and continues to speak out on issues pertinent to seafarer safety and well-being.”
“Thank you to Lloyd’s List for the recognition! We are honoured by the decision, and wish to thank all of our sea and shore staff for their continued contributions and perseverance, through thick and thin. It is to them, the OneTeam we have at Anglo-Eastern, that we owe this distinction,” said Anglo-Eastern’s media spokesperson in their response to the announcement.
